Healthy Living – Supporting Good Health and Well-Being
Caritas FertilityCare provides natural fertility awareness and reproductive health support for women and couples, combining the FertilityCare system with NaProTechnology, a medical approach that uses information from a woman’s natural fertility cycle to help evaluate and manage reproductive health concerns. The programme supports areas such as fertility planning, subfertility, repeated miscarriages, irregular cycles, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis and other gynaecological health issues, while helping couples better understand their reproductive health.
In the context of UN SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, Caritas FertilityCare fits within the Healthy Living category by promoting greater awareness of reproductive health, encouraging early identification of fertility-related concerns, and supporting informed health choices through education, fertility monitoring and appropriate medical care. Its approach helps individuals and couples take a more active role in understanding and managing their reproductive well-being as part of overall healthy living.
