MetaEco.sg Standard Terms and Conditions for Online Purchases

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases of products and services through www.metaeco.sg. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
MetaEco.sg provides curated products and related services, including sales, rental, repair, installation, maintenance and training. Some products or services may be supplied or performed by third-party suppliers or service partners.
1. Products and Services
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate. Images are for illustration and actual products may vary slightly.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product or service selected is suitable for their intended use.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance, product availability and successful payment.
MetaEco may cancel or reject an order if:
• a product is unavailable;
• incorrect pricing or information has been displayed;
• payment is unsuccessful; or
• there is suspected fraud or misuse.
If payment has already been made for a cancelled order, the relevant amount will be refunded.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise indicated.
GST, delivery, installation or other charges may apply and will be shown during checkout, quotation or order confirmation where applicable.
Payment must be made using the payment methods provided on the Platform.
4. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates unless otherwise stated.
Customers must provide accurate delivery information and reasonable access for delivery.
Additional charges may apply where delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, restricted access or customer unavailability.
5. Inspection and Defects
Customers should inspect products promptly upon delivery.
Any damaged, defective or incorrect product should be reported to MetaEco as soon as reasonably possible, together with the order number and supporting photographs where appropriate.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns are subject to MetaEco's applicable Return and Refund Policy.
Change-of-mind returns may only be accepted if the product is unused, in original condition and packaging, and returned within the stated return period.
Customised, specially ordered, installed, used or opened products may not be returnable unless defective or otherwise required by law.
Approved refunds will normally be made through the original payment method.
7. Warranty
Products may carry a manufacturer, supplier or MetaEco warranty.
Warranty does not generally cover misuse, unauthorised modification, improper installation, normal wear and tear, accidents or failure to follow operating instructions.
MetaEco may assist customers with valid warranty claims where a supplier or manufacturer warranty applies.
8. Services, Installation and Repairs
MetaEco.sg provides equipment assessment, maintenance, and repair services operated by EBA Machinery Services Pte Ltd.
Assessment & Waivers: Listing prices cover initial registration and equipment assessment. Assessment fees may be waived upon quotation approval or replacement purchase at our discretion.
Transport & Uncollected Goods: Separate market-rate transportation charges apply. Equipment uncollected after 2 months from notification is subject to disposal, and non-payment rights apply.

9. Rental
All machinery and equipment rentals booked through MetaEco.sg are subject to binding hire agreements with EBA Machinery Services Pte Ltd.
Scope & Usage: Rental equipment is restricted to approved job sites within Singapore and remains the sole property of EBA Machinery Services Pte Ltd.
Charges & Liability: Security deposits and advance hire payments are required prior to release. The Hirer assumes full responsibility for daily maintenance, fuel, insurance, and replacement costs for loss or damage.

10. Third-Party Suppliers
MetaEco may use third-party suppliers, installers, repairers and other service providers to fulfil orders.
Where additional supplier or service-provider terms apply, these will be stated or communicated to the customer where relevant.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information, make payment when due and use products according to the manufacturer's instructions and intended purpose.
Customers purchasing specialist or commercial equipment are responsible for confirming that the equipment is suitable for their operational requirements.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, MetaEco will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, business interruption or loss of data.
For business purchases, MetaEco's liability relating to an order will generally be limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service, where permitted by law.
13. Personal Data
MetaEco may collect and use personal data to process orders, payments, deliveries, customer support, warranties and related services.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with MetaEco's Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore laws.
14. Promotions
Promotions, vouchers and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, expiry dates and product restrictions.
They generally cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
15. Cancellation
Customers should contact MetaEco as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.
Cancellation may not be possible once a product being purchased through the platform has been dispatched, specially ordered, customised, installed or once substantial service work has started.

Customers should first contact MetaEco to resolve any complaint.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and should there be any disputes of sort, both buyers and Metaeco.sg agree to refer the dispute to the Singapore Mediation Court and both parties agree to abide to the outcome of the Singapore Mediation Court, subject to applicable consumer rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
MetaEco may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when the order was placed.
